Island Impact is an independent nonprofit supporting island communities through research, evidence and advocacy. We examine the economic, social and practical challenges islands face, and produce credible research to inform governments, policymakers, businesses and the public. National averages do not see islands, and policy written for the mainland arrives unadjusted - so where island communities are overlooked, we also act as an independent voice, challenging poor policy and campaigning for practical change.
